Franklin Opera House, Inc Reviews

Absolutely loved it! Where else could you experience so much joy! The children obviously loved what they were doing

So thankful for this gem and the arts in the community!!! Just wish they had a better facility.

Easy and stress-free every step of the way. Made for a relaxing and fun Saturday evening. Thank you to our local gem.

Date was changed the day after we bought the tickets so we didn’t get to see the show.

Welcomed upon entering and Professional all the way through

Excellent production. True, the left speaker was too loud when the guys were shouting into the microphone. The moment of birth from the egg was not visible to the audience on the left. The children on stage blocked everything.

 Great payment and ticketing experience

Excellent! The Robert Frost performance was outstanding!!! Really great show!!

Despite having to cart the costumes, scenery,, lighting and props all over town to remain active we have thoroughly enjoyed all the shows for the past several months! We are extremely grateful for the casts and Board and behind the scenes folks who are working so hard to keep our Franklin Opera House alive despite the numerous delays in getting the Soldiers Memoria Hall open again. We are looking forward to having shows back where they belong on the stage at the Opera House

 The show was fabulous.

 It was great!

 Great time

 lots of laughs

The people were great it wasn’t great though

We were in the library and it was a cozy and personal experience.

 Great show!

The performances are top notch! Those children put their heart and souls into the shows! So much talent!

It was AMAZING! I had so much fun during the show and couldn’t get over the amount of talent I saw last night. Everyone did a beautiful job, it was such a fun time for everyone who got to share those moments with the cast. You guys should be really proud of what you accomplished! (also, my apologies for having to sneak in late)

 Great energy! Awesome music!

The show was great just a little too long but great anyway

Great cast and location. Poor sound, some type of sound projection needed. Length of performance a bit too long.

loved the interaction with the audience. Fun event

 Loved it.

Loved it! "Ida" is extremely entertaining and her stories are relatable. Have seen her before and would definitely come to see her again. The venue was wonderful...clean, bright, seats were very comfortable, and plenty of parking with a well-lit parking lot. We thoroughly enjoyed it!

Didnt get to see the show because the date was changed the day after we bought tickets.

 grand daughter was in play

The cast did an amazing job

 It was an amazing show.

I attended for three days and, frankly, the script and production were fantastic. Great work, everyone. Some of the voices were so high-vibration. Even someone learning English understood the meaning and purpose very well. Thank you to the organizers. My soul sang along with you.

Quality of performance was fantastic. Kids clearly put a lot of work into this

 Always fun.

I’m thankful I made the one hour drive in snow and ice… however very disappointed in the negative theme throughout the whole show. Stealing, stealing, divorce, death of 1st wife, arguing over not getting part man vs woman. Christmas not so cheerful. The small singers were the only joy! I get they are all normal happenings during the holidays however one or two with some joy in between would have made it less a downer.

this was an excellent production of One Christmas Eve at Evergreen Mall, the students sing a longs were enjoyable, and the actors (adult and children) were exceptional. I thoroughly enjoyed the performances.

It was fun - great casting. A really good Charlie Brown!

J.T.Turner did an excellent job of depicting the poet and reading the poetry! Superb performance

The performance was excellent and the show enhanced a class on Frost's poetry that I am currently taking.

We loved it! J.T. turner was great, so engaging and a great performer! The venue was very comfortable and accommodating. Thank you to all who made this happen!

Fantastic performance and great portrayal of a great poet. J T was very realistic and true to character. Missed Leigh Webb's welcoming intro. He is always upbeat and warms up the audience for the presentation.

I loved it and would be interested in coming to other similar events.

 Fabulous performanc

This event was incredible and so much fun to be there to witness such Talent!! Wonderful Night and looking forward to seeing another one soon!!!

We enjoyed the show. Nicely presented. Thank you!

Play was very well done! "Roy/Saepadra" did a fantastic job!! Loved the little quiz we all participated in at the table. Snacks were yummy. Loved the roaming cast members and interacting with them at our table. Pumpkin cupcakes were delicious!! Woopie Pies were not as good; a little stale tasting. All the guests we invited to join our table also loved the show!

 A great time

it wasn’t scary at all, the kiddos tried and I appreciate that but I don’t feel like it was worth a 15 dollar ticket that nobody bothered to check if I had, (I did, I printed it out). It was just kinda disappointing, not sure if I’ll be back next year.

Exciting to have some of our local talent perform! Looking forward to her future endeavors with her partner. Especially enjoyed their last song.

Wonderful show with great performances and a fantastic audience.

We have seen Jud perform many times(he was a student of mine many years ago) and really enjoyed the venue at the library. It was a small area just perfect for the songs of Jim Croce. We would love to see Jud return to this venue or the Opera House. He is a very talented singer and guitar player and is very comfortable performing. Barb Larsen

Very nice balance between his music and narration on the life of Jim Croce.

Excellent!! Jud is a very talented musician who combined great music and vocals with wonderful storytelling about the life of Jim Croce. A great way to spend the evening after a great meal at the the Waterhorse Irish Pub.

 Great show, cast, sound venue

Rock of Ages was like a blast from the past. Costumes, settings and music were terrific.

It's always nice to see the community coming together to put on a show for neighbors!!

The performers, stage crew, staff & volunteers all made this an enjoyable time. The stage was set to recall the songs of the times. The story line flowed easily, the glamour & grunge of live shows clearly portrayed. The struggles of hopeful wanna be stars, the fate of fallen stars, were all there, too. It was a privilege to be in the audience.

That was an amazing show!!! Loved it!!!

See above. Thanks for an amazing night.

It was great, the cast did an amazing job. It was such a fun play to watch.

 Rock of Ages was AWESOME!!

 fantastic

It was absolutely incredible show and everybody was fantastic.

If I lived closer would see again. Great talent and music. Would like to see next show at the actual opera house theater!

 The show was incredible!!!

Loved Rock of Ages. Cast was excellent.

 Great show, as always!!!

Always look forward to this event each year! Meal was very good! Enjoyed sharing evening with our table of friends. Everyone bought something at the auction and were happily satisfied.

The meal was excellent and the entertainment a lot of fun. Great event!
