Real Stories North of Concord September 9

Twelve Storytellers will each have six minutes to tell stories related to the theme "Odd Jobs". A panel of four judges will score each story while audience members select their favorite story for the evening. Storytellers may register when you arrive, or register in advance at realstoriesnoc@gmail.com. This is a FAMILY-FRIENDLY event.

Hampstead Stage Company presents this original adaptation of Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein which explores Victor Frankenstein’s maddening journey of creation and failure, with three actors playing multiple characters.
Recommended for ages 13 and up.

"Dare to Dream" Film Series
Linguistics professor Louise Banks (Amy Adams) leads an elite team of investigators when gigantic spaceships touch down in 12 locations around the world. As nations teeter on the verge of global war, Banks and her crew must race against time to find a way to communicate with the extraterrestrial visitors.

A well-known performer in Boston and around New England, Beverly sings and plays keyboards, stringed instruments, and percussion in a special, intimate concert.

You are invited to a convention of romance writers, contenders for the LoveKnot Book of the Year Award. Editor Benton Fish tries to keep the award ceremonies civilized amid jealousies and rivalries. When the winner is announced and then abruptly murdered, it will be up to the amateur detectives in the audience to vote for who they think “dunit”.

SPRING 2017 EVENTS

One cold, clear night, while the northern lights hover in the sky above, Almost’s residents find themselves falling in and out of love in the strangest ways.

The NH Fiddle Ensemble is a group of over 60 acoustic musicians ages 6 to 85, who love all styles of acoustic music, including guitars, mandolins, banjos, and basses. They perform this well-attended concert in multiple locations each year with roaring applause. It’s a fun, entertaining, feel good show you don’t want to miss.

This thrilling show is an explosive mix of circus arts, relentless comedy, full-body contortion, juggling, and live, up-beat, electronic music! Features a custom 15-foot wide drum set, electronic jumpsuits, and a complete computerized LED lighting system that will transform the Opera House into the full AudioBody experience.

Opera House stage in this annual musical extravaganza.
